Now this one was hard work, but I finally after a few hours I cracked it.

Okay, I will admit I did have to delve Into the internet for a couple to fill the blanks.

After the struggle to get a starting XI comprised of players who have links to both Luton Town and Brentford, I am sure I will come across a club soon where it just is not possible to complete the task.

But we will cross that bridge when we come to it.

Meanwhile, as is the norm, look at the eleven I have uncovered, below, and see if you can think of any other players who can claim to have something to do with both clubs and we can debate whether they would improve the eleven I selected or not.

Goalkeeper – Nathan Abbey

Defender – Lewis Emanuel
Defender – Clive Goodyear
Defender – Adam Newton
Defender – Fraser Franks

Midfielder – David Court
Midfielder – Chris Kamara
Midfielder – Wayne Turner

Striker – Steve Claridge
Striker – David Geddis
• Striker – Andre Gray

Substitute – Rowan Vine

Brentford v Luton?

Did anyone else see Chris Kamara on a farming programme at Christmas?
He was plugging an album he has recorded.
I have to say that his singing is no improvement on his football skill.
    Unbelievable!!

Sorry MH, but I have to say in my humble opinion Wayne Turnip I mean Turner was the worst player I have ever seen play for Luton. I didn’t think he was worthy of even wearing the shirt… now there’s an idea, how about getting the gang on here to select their ‘worst ever’ hatters side? I wonder what yours would be?

a good idea, something to work on for the next two weeks

    • Danny says:

Wayne Turner will always be rightly remembered mainly for the winning goal he scored to knock w@tford out the FA cup which elevated him to legendary status. A very average player but much loved after scoring that goal.
