Tresor Kandol, whose career plummetted after leaving Luton only to rekindle with a £50,000 transfer from Dagenham and Redbridge in January, is to appear at Waltham Forest Magistrates’ Court on Friday for sentencing after pleading guilty to driving offences.

The 24-year-old striker missed Barnet’s fixture at Boston on Saturday, after being arrested early on Saturday morning.

He was granted conditional bail at Brent Magistrates Court on Monday after pleading guilty to charges of driving while disqualified and failing to attend court.

Rumours that he had left the club and that disciplinary action had been taken against him quickly buzzed round Underhill.

Kandol missed training on Monday to appear in court. Barnet chairman Tony Kleanthous and PR consultant Dennis Signy accompanied the striker to court, where he was granted bail after the magistrates that he had recently started a new career with Barnet FC.

So it’s back to the trains then! Or is it – taxi for Tresor? 🙂
