Steve Robinson was back in action this afternoon and played the full ninety minutes for the reserves against Southend Reserves at Kenilworth Road.

The Northern Ireland midfielder appeared to come through the match with no problems, after missing out on a similar opportunity for match practice last week, when the fixture against Barnet reserves was called off.

Luton extended their unbeaten run to nine matches with a 2-0 victory, after goals by Dean Morgan and Enoch Showunmi.

Luton featured two triallists in the match. The first was Cameroonian Cyril Ndiba, a midfielder who has played for Le Havre, and a young striker, Mark Bardle, who – dare I say it? – was on the books of a certain unmentionable Hertfordshire team!
