Luton Town are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performance by Dan Potts in the one nil victory over Grimsby Town at the weekend at Blundell Park was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Potts was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘The Hatters were reduced to 10 men with just over 30 minutes played of their away clash at Grimsby Town, leaving the defence up against it for the remainder of the game. However, they held firm with Potts the pick of the defensive bunch, while James Collins grabbed the winner at the other end.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Potts for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.
