If John Still has any sense he should be on the phone to Port Vale to ensure that Luton Town do extend the loan of their young defender Joe Davis.

Since arriving at Kenilworth Road, Davis has made nine appearances for Luton and has established a fine central defensive partnership with Steve McNulty.

Although Still is awaiting information relating to the injury situation regarding Parry and Lacey, if Davis is available then every step should be made to ensure he remains on our books, even more so when the youngster has given every indication that he`d like to remain a Luton player, remarking,

“It`s been brilliant, I`ve loved every minute of it, just playing games and getting that taste back, you can`t beat it.”

“I hope I can stay, it`s been mayhem so I haven`t really had a chance to speak to the gaffer, but I`m sure I`ll speak to him maybe when I get back and try and sort something out.”
