Luton’s Predicted Starting XI For EFL Championship Play-Off Final Against Coventry City

Wednesday is now upon us and Saturday’s EFL Championship Play-Off Final draws ever nearer.

With just days to go, I’m probably not the only Luton Town supporter who is trying to second-guess the starting XI Rob Edwards will opt to use.

Yesterday, news broke that Cauley Woodrow had lost his battle for fitness and will miss the final as reported by Luton Today.

But I’m convinced, if fit, Woodrow would only have made the substitutes bench.

After much deliberation, I do not believe Edwards will make any changes to the XI that served us so well in the EFL Championship play-off semi-final second leg, against Sunderland.

Therefore, I see the starting XI as:

• Ethan Horvath
• Cody Drameh
• Gabe Osho
• Tom Lockyer
• Amari’i Bell
• Marvelous Nakamba
• Jordan Clark
• Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu
• Alfie Doughty
• Carlton Morris
• Elijah Adebayo

Do you concur with the above or would you beg to differ?

Don’t feel there’s any point arguing with you mh as I think we all know robs preferred team an style. All I’ll say is maybe he could knowing how big the pitch is made a subtle change just to try an surprise Coventry but I don’t see us being clever enough for that. Can see a lot of very tired players at the end.

Agree, RE will stick to his guns… Although with big pitch would have maybe thought Campbell over Clark to provide some support for Nakamba… But unlikely to change up.
Sure all the boys will leave 100% out there on the pitch for the occasion whoever starts.

Would like to see Campbell rather than Pelly. When he plays its better service to Morris and Elijah

agree with you peter. substitutes will play a big part on this pitch, plus the predicted hot weather. can’t wait to see the team news.COYH.

  • Andrew says:

I would like to see Campbell in from the start to help and brake up the play to knock Coventry off their stride , then if need be bring berry on for the last 20 minutes if we need to chase the game .coyh
