Sat waiting for kick off, at the Swansea.com Stadium, I couldn’t help but peruse the social media comments relating to Nathan Jones starting XI selection.
The comments just show how hard it is for a manager to satisfy everyone.
Let’s start with Danny Hylton, our striker who, according to the media, was bound for Oxford United on deadline day – legend-set-for-deadline-day-move.
Hylton, now 32-years-of-age, was selected to lead the line, quite possibly because Adebayo was carrying an injury and Jones didn’t feel Jerome was capable of giving his all, for a second time, in the space of four days.
Danny’s selection really split the support, with some against and some for, but we’ll start with those who didn’t like Danny starting:
Hylton whaaaaaat?

We really should have brought in a striker lol

Not the kind of posts to inspire you with confidence, but there were others in favour of the selection:
Danny Hylton about to roll back the years, hat trick incoming

Easy 3 points. Hylts hat-trick.

Now that’s more like it!
But the ‘for and against’ posts were mirrored when it came to the team selection in general, with the following all for the bold selection:
Defo our strongest eleven. 3 points in the bag.
— Joe Smith (@JKS1989) February 1, 2022
But there were also doubters:
Alright lads where’s the real team ?

Like it says in the title, who would be a manager?
COYH’s
