Luton – What To Do With Admiral Muskwe

Yesterday, in the first of a mini-series, I chose to open a debate about the Luton future of several players lurking on the fringes of first-team action.

The series has come about due to the influx of SIX new faces, so far, this summer and started with – what-to-do-with-carlos-mendes-gomes.

Today, I’ve opted to cover Admiral Muskwe.

Signed from Leicester City, last summer, for that magical descriptive term – an undisclosed fee, Muskwe, in my opinion, is another player who did not live up to pre-season expectations.

As the Hatters secured sixth place in the 2021/2022 Championship table, Muskwe only made 7 starts and a further 13 appearances from the bench but failed to hit the net.

At 23-years-of-age, I reckon Admiral should be approaching his prime and pushing for regular first team football, but will that happen at Kenilworth Road?

Will Muskwe find himself pushed further down the pecking order or could he be a casualty of the latest summer revamp?

No real argument about what the cabin boy has done sell him on quickly.

  • Peter Scott says:

We have to give the guy a chance – he is not one of NJs favourites so does not get the game time he deserves – I think given the chance he would be excellent for us – smarten up NJ give the guy a chance!

    • Chris winter says:

Perfectly true Peter but he’s shown less for me than gomes so I’m going to say keep gomes and let the cabin boy find his level elsewhere. And be fair to him.

Sorry but I feel Admiral must go. He has had a number of opportunities but failed to make any significant impression.. Poor Gomes sits on the bench and is over looked I feel sure if Gomes had been given the same chance he would have made a difference. NJ must give him a run in the starting 11. I can see him being a big star very soon so let’s not miss out.
