Luton Support Declares Their Preference

Hard on the heels of Luton Town signing, on loan, the Nottingham Forest keeper, Ethan Horvath, for the season, we decided to run a poll.

With Matt Macey having already signed and with Harry Isted already on the books, we were inquisitive as to who, with James Shea on the long-term injury list, you would prefer to see between the sticks for our opening Championship fixture, against Birmingham City, or as our poll question put it:

Your Preferred Keeper v Birmingham Is?

The result left us in no doubt with 52% opting for Ethan Horvath, a clear winner.

As for the remainder of the votes cast, 25% went for Harry Isted believing that the youngster has done little wrong when called upon and should be given a run in the side, while the remaining 23% went for Matt Macey, a surprisingly low vote.

It will certainly be interesting to see who gets the nod, especially as I reckon Nathan Jones may give all three a chance to shine in the round of pre-season friendlies, but I reckon, if fit, Ethan Horvath will be between the posts for that crucial first fixture.

Morning mh, whilst my preferred option would be give isted 10 games to prove he is up to the task. An qualify him as a senior player avoiding last seasons problems. The fact is I fully expect horvath to be given the shirt as he could be USA keeper going to the world Cup as his rivals are no3 options at there clubs an will lack game time. Also it will help with his value with his home club when they sell. Depending on how many games he plays for us.
