Although the Premier League action has resumed, I thought I’d continue with our series that was originally published in the early weeks of COVID-19.
Revisiting the articles, which are now four years old, has proven to be interesting, especially assessing the XI’s and looking at who the Hatters have signed since.
Continuing with the letter ‘H’ our original article can be accessed via the link – luton-town-h-xi
In the original article Chris Winter submitted the following XI
• Morton Hyldgaard
• Alan Harper
• Roger Hoy
• Ronnie Henry
• Charlie Henry
• Marcus Heikkinen
• Petri Helin
• Brian Horton
• Vic Halom
• Mick Harford
• John Hartson
While also pointing out that there were several others who, perhaps, might have deserved inclusion:
• Bob Hatton
• Jimmy Husband
• Danny Hylton
• Steve Howard
At the time I can recall Chris extolling the virtues of the Scandinavian duo he included.
As for my XI, it was:
• Graham Horn
• Jake Howells
• Roger Hoy
• Ronnie Henry
• Ian Hillier
• Ricky Hill
• Brian Horton
• Jimmy Husband
• Don Hutchinson
• Mick Harford
• Vince Hilaire
But what about those who, with surnames beginning with the letter ‘H’, have joined us since?
Well I could only recall the following trio:
• Daiki Hashioka
• Tom Holmes
• Taylan Harris
So just who has made my ultimate XI, drawn from the above?
Well, after much deliberation I came up with the following:
• Graham Horn
• Alan Harper
• Roger Hoy
• Ronny Henry
• Jake Howells
• Brian Horton
• Ricky Hill
• Jimmy Husband
• Mick Harford
• Vic Halom
• John Hartson
Is it an XI you concur with, or would you beg to differ?

Good shout jimbo
i cannot see how Vic Halom can be selected ahead of Steve Howard or Danny Hylton for presence influence and contribution i would suggest both are also ahead of John Hartson agree in football Hartson should be in but for Luton Town Hylton and Howard by miles just look at goals scored.
Good point Chris, I accept your arguement, guess it’s down to opinion, but the front three were the most difficult to select, perhaps a case could also be made for Bob Hatton!
Ken Hawkes played in the 1959 Cup Final his brother Barry played a few games for the town wouldn’t suggest that either should play instead of your selections
Great shout though
Hi all, just another couple…hindson, heale. Not necessarily starters for sure
