Luton Town – Never In A Million Years

Four games and four defeats is a grim statistic but, trust me, things are going to get better.

Scanning social media, as I tend to do, following a game, gives a good opinion of the feelings of the Hatters support.

Thankfully, the vast majority remain 100% behind what Rob Edwards and the club are trying to achieve, times are tough, but Rome was not built in a day.

But, lurking among the many posts, including those from other clubs who seem to take great delight in our current plight and keep harking on about the record Derby County hold for the lowest number of points earned in a Premier League season, was the following post:

What?

Patience is a virtue and it would seem the originator of this particular post does not possess any at all.

We’re not Watford you know, we don’t have a revolving door attached to the managerial office allied with an ejector seat!

Changing the manager now would be disastrous for the club, Rob Edwards deserves better and we’re sure the Hatters hierarchy have no intention of doing such a dastardly act.

Here on holiday an can’t see highlights of the game.but yet again var has done us.But the one thing glaring us in the face is the cost that not bringing in a premier striker in preseason is having on us. Now I know some are going to say to expensive but £20 millions then may be the difference between now an Xmas when it may be to late..

Jimbo I’m simply saying that a lot of people could see before the season that a good striker was vital .as Morris alone was not enough I said it then an repeat it now who apart from Morris will get double figures? That is religation form. Now I’m not suggesting we will be but face it my friend only 1 goal from open play an scored by a defender an a penalty from 4games in 25 chances is not good enough.

Brown could yet come good, looks handy… problem is, no matter what striker we have, when they are covering right back large chunks of the match, how are we going to remain a threat without running the top men to the ground… hard balance between the press/cover and keeping guys and in threatening attacking positions. Coaches have a tough task to get the transition correct but I believe in them, with time.

I think Brown and Adebayo should be played together up front. Brown could be a good partner with Adebayo like Cornick did when he first signed, it might give us something different up front

chris, we should have scored 3 goals at fulham, the players we have must take these chances. we need a little bit of luck. in an ideal world a striker of good quality would have been a fantastic addition., but we seem to have packed midfield instead, and sorted the goalkeeping dilemma at last. i truly believe we will start scoring soon, not just strikers ,but other players as well. i want to see how clark will fit into this team, he can make things happy. enjoy your holiday.COYH.

I think a lot of teams in the premiership are worried about playing Luton as we can only get better as each game is proving
