Continuing our regular series whereby we focus on those attacking the Hatters have loaned out, it appears two out of five had a rewarding day.
Making his debut for Barnsley, against Wigan (a), John McAtee made himself an instant hero, scoring in the 94th minute to secure a 2-0 win in the League One fixture.
A division higher, in the EFL Championship, Fred Onyedimna, returning from a ludicrous ban after receiving a red card in his previous game, got on the scoresheet in the 53rd minute with a deft header.
Unfortunately, for Fred, he finished on the losing side with Leicester City, relegated from the Premier League last season, continuing their fine unbeaten start, winning 2-1.
Meanwhile, down in Kent, Joe Taylor, after scoring 4 goals in his previous 4 games, failed to get on the scoresheet even though his side, who started the game lying bottom of the table, even though his side beat top of the table Gillingham, 3-0.
Returning to League One, Carlos Mendes Gomes had to be content with a place on the bench, coming on in the 55th minute, as his Bolton side earned a point in a tough away fixture at Burton Albion, with the game ending 1-1.
Lastly, Aribim Pepple, will have to wait to see if he can get his first goal, for Bromley FC, until Monday when they take on Southend United (h).
