Luton Town Face Difficult Decision Regarding New Contract For Striker

We’re at the time of the year where important decisions have to be made relating to certain players.

With Nathan Jones now back in the Kenilworth Road hot seat, I’d imagine the gaffer will have his say in who is kept on and who is released.

One player, as The 72 point out that could be leaving the Hatters shortly is Elliot Lee.

The 25-year-old, who signed for the Hatters back in 2017 is out of contract at the end of the month.

Now Nathan has to decide whether Elliot Lee is awarded another contract or is allowed to leave the club for nothing.

Perhaps Nathan’s decision will be tempered by the fact that the club could be playing League One football next season, a league in which Elliot scored 12 times as Luton Town marched to the title.

I’m in a quandary when it comes to this one, but what would your decision be?

Please feel free to vote in our latest poll:

Should Luton Town Offer Elliot Lee A New Contract?

Hi mh, as far as I’m concerned Lee has done nothing wrong except fall foul of the previous management dislike. If its njs plan to return to his formation previously then Lee is up to speed with it or if nessersery play up front. So at this time why let him go

  • Alan says:

We are short on forward minded players. Plus with next season in mind perhaps it’s better we give Lee a chance to reignite his career with us….what’s the situation with izzy brown is he still here or gone back to Chelsea or is he even fit ??

Hi Alan, that’s what I’ve been saying for weeks. What’s happening with the loan players. Anyway why pay a fortune in wages to player who’s always injured.

  • Alan says:

Hi Chris, apart from Vickers I don’t think the others are worth bothering about anyway. Your right about the wages…not needed so send them back…

Hi mh, I saw that nj mh an Adrian forbes were taking training at the brache yesterday. Also a lot work was done.

Hi all, so the efl in its wisdom has decreed that the championship can show games on I follow live. I for one think that although a season ticket holder why should I pay £10 pounds to watch a game I have already paid for. This is not the clubs fault as it seems the efl have input an is there decision. I happily don’t want a refund on my season ticket. But feel these games should have been offered to free to air channels. In a short term deal what do other contributers say

  • Alan says:

Hi Chris, I maybe wrong but I think I follow is free to season ticket holders. That’s how I read it anyway.

Hi Alan, maybe I misread it. But even so other regular supporters who maybe can’t afford it. Deserved the chance to watch their team don’t you think. Not everyone of my age has a computer. An all supporters deserve in these times to be able to watch their team.

  • Alan says:

Hi mate, quite agree. There are enough TV channels showing total rubbish at the mo, at least 1 of them could make the effort..
