A slightly modified chant from yesteryear but one I’m sure the older generation will fondly recall.
Yesterday, as I slipped back into writing mode after completing another set of gruelling shifts in the ‘proper’ job, I opted to ask a very pertinent question via our poll facility.
With Nathan Jones having slipped back into very familiar surroundings, I wanted to know:
Can Nathan Jones Keep Luton Town In The Championship?
Now, obviously, with the Hatters in such a perilous position and with games running out it is readily accepted as being a tall order.
However, the game is littered with instances of the appointment of a new manager working wonders when it comes to getting results.
With three options to choose from, it appears the support is buoyant about the Town staying up with, at the last count, 62% opting for the suggestion that Nathan Jones can keep Luton Town Football Club in the Championship.
As for the remainder of the votes cast, 31% believe there is too much to do in the remaining games and that the Hatters will be playing League One football next season, with the other 7% unable to make their minds and choosing to sit on the proverbial fence.
My view is that if Nathan gets us off to a winning start then anything is possible.
Believe in the impossible / improbable, whatever the media label it.
