A win is a win but when that victory is as emphatic as this one was it really is reason to celebrate.

Who would have thought that on the back of a six-game unbeaten run Luton Town would thrash a side that, if they won, could have topped the Championship table, and by such a big score-line?

The Hatters done their magnificent support proud in this game, with every player deserving praise.

The scene was set for what was a magnificent evening, as early as the 3rd minute when Adebayo picked himself up, dusted himself down and slotted home a penalty.

The lead was doubled in the 18th minute when Cornick fired home and the home support went into ecstatic mode, in the 30th minute when Berry netted.

Already 3-0 up, with only half an hour played, Luton made it 4-0 when Adebayo netted his second of the game deep into first-half stoppage time.

4-0 up at the break, surely Luton would not throw this one away as they had done when they led Swansea City 3-0 at half time not that long ago.

The answer was no as Luton, in the 58th minute made it 5-0 courtesy of Cornick scoring his second of the game.

A remarkable game, a remarkable performance and can we have more of the same, against Huddersfield Town, his coming Saturday?
