Luton – Time For The Mystic Meg Approach

The 2021/2022 season is now under two weeks away and the excitement levels are building.

With the Hatters having revamped their squad, with a plethora of signings, it will certainly be interesting to see how the team gels and performs in the new Championship season.

Already, this summer, we have speculated on where Luton might finish, with some of our readership of the opinion a play-off place could be achieved with others looking towards a mid-table finish but improving on the 12th place finish of last season.

But, looking at the bigger picture, here at Vital Luton Town, we would like you to go all ‘Mystic Meg’ on us and predict which THREE teams get promoted and which THREE teams will get relegated.

When it comes to promotion, are we likely to see the three clubs relegated from the Premier League, last season, Fulham, Sheffield United and West Bromwich Albion heavily involved, or could the likes of Barnsley and Swansea do better than just miss out like they did last season?

As for relegation, will the three clubs who got promoted from League One, Hull City, Peterborough United and Blackpool, find life too tough in the Championship, or will some of those sides that struggled last season slip through the trap door?

Here at Vital Luton, all we ask is that you give the question due consideration and then drop the names of the THREE teams you believe will get promoted and the names of the THREE teams you believe will get relegated.
