Luton – The 31 Day Transfer Window Wait

The 2022 January transfer window is now officially open, but how will it pan out?

Are the Hatters in a situation whereby they can invest in the squad, or is it more of a case that the loan system will be raided to supplement the squad?

Indeed, you could even ponder as to whether the ongoing COVID pandemic may also do its utmost to affect what is, to put it mildly, an interesting time of the season?

Whatever happens, would it be too churlish to ask that if Luton Town are to add to the squad, then any business, supposedly, in the pipeline is done sooner rather than later.

While transfer deadline may be something that is peddled by the media as exciting, I always feel that its akin to the opening of the January sales in shops, with everyone clamouring to grab a bargain that, once they get home, they may regret.

But is that too much to ask?

Your thoughts on the subject matter would be most appreciated in the comment facility beneath this brief but to the point article.

Not too sure if it’s any good taking someone on loan as they are usually not match fit , have to bed in to new surroundings it seems as we won’t see that player till April and then the season is nearly over Paul Ince is a good example of that and he did nothing for us waste of time . If it’s someone who comes in on loan with a view to signing them maybe but not a fan of the loan system this time of year . Coyh
