Last night, the feats of Nathan Jones (and his backroom team) were recognised by the EFL.
As we may have mentioned in an earlier article – boss-scoops-top-award – Nathan Jones was named as the ‘Championship Manager of the Year’.
It was, I must admit, not something I was anticipating, but it is an award that fills me with delight.
Naturally, numerous other Luton supporters felt the same and it comes as no surprise to see that social media is awash with congratulatory comments, as those posts selected below show:
That is massive and one million percent deserved. Can’t believe EFL allowed it. That says it all about how incredible what is happening at the club actually is.

Fully deserved too, with our budget and with all the injuries we’ve had throughout the season. It is an incredible achievement that we are in the play off positions.

How could it have been anyone else? Brilliant achievement. Congratulations, Nathan!

And it seems that the praise isn’t restricted to Luton supporters as the two posts below prove:
Even given what Cooper has achieved, I can't begrudge Jones this on the budget that Luton have. An absolutely outstanding achievement to get them to the Play Offs.

Well deserved too!! 👍

Surprisingly, I even stumbled across something congratulatory from Stoke where Nathan endured a torrid time:
Fair play to him, it didn't work with us and he'll go down as one of our worst managers but he gave everything he had and aged about 10 years while here.

It seems Nathan is a popular chap in this division.
