With all that has been and is happening on the managerial front, it’s been a challenge to keep up to date with other items.
Earlier this week, the Wales manager, Robert Page, announced his 26-man squad for the forthcoming World Cip, in Qatar.
Here at Vital Luton Town, we were delighted to report – defender-named-in-welsh-world-cup-squad – that Tom Lockyer had earned a place on the plane.
It was something that delighted the Hatters support and social media was awash with congratulations for the centre back:
Gone from seeing him play at Braintree away to potentially coming up against Kane. Mental 👏

Absolutely buzzing for the lad! Couldn’t be more deserved! 👏🏻

Totally deserved. Well done Tom. Reward for your hard work, improvement & recent form. Top lad.

Made up for him . He’s been immense for us since he got his chance in the first team

Indeed, he has, he’s overcome injuries, loss of form and competition for places to emerge as a first choice for one of the positions at the heart of the Hatters defence.
Here’s hoping that the Gods are smiling and Tom doesn’t pick up an injury against Rotherham United, this Saturday, now that would be heart-breaking.
COYH’s
Luton Town v Rotherham United
Luton Town to Win!
Rotherham United to Win!
A Draw!
