I am still struggling to comprehend just what I witnessed last night.

After losing to Stoke City, on Saturday, a trip to Millwall, in my opinion, gave Luton Town the perfect opportunity to get back to winning ways.

We expected the Hatters to get stuck in, show a bit of industry, and match the home side blow for blow.

Instead, it was more of a surrender, a gutless performance where, never once, did we look as if we could get anything from the fixture.

For me, watching it was painful and the number of times I squealed in anguish as the ball was once again given way, must have upset the neighbours.

But I am not alone in feeling somewhat exasperated about the performance.

Visiting the social media feeds, this morning, it appears numerous other Luton fans were not impressed with what they watched last night, as the comments below perfectly illustrate:

More worryingly, it was the second consecutive game that Luton have struggled in, as another poster succinctly commented:

This morning, with the squad reporting for training, Nathan Jones has some serious work to do, perhaps though he should start as suggested below:

Now that is not a bad idea!

Hi all, 4 defeats out of the last 5 games is concerning despite it being early in the season. Regular starters Pelly & Berry should be nervously looking over their shoulders as both have been poor of late, with quality replacements available in Morrell & Dewsbury-Hall surely both will be getting their chance to shine very soon, hopefully being this Saturday as things need freshening up asap.
Collins missing the minimum of another 4 games is a massive loss, for me he is the one player we don’t have an adequate replacement for. Hylton is struggling to make an impact at this level, Lee isn’t up to it which leaves just Cornick and Lua Lua to get the goals. I think it was Alistair who previously mentioned we looked a bit light up front which certainly looks that way at the moment.
