Late yesterday afternoon, the news broke confirming that the first of what could be several players had left the club, on loan.
It was indeed a subject matter we covered with the following article โ luton-player-joins-charlton-on-loan.
With the summer transfer window set to close next Tuesday evening, I am sure that Elliot Lee, will not be the only squad player to be loaned out or sold as the Hatters look to reduce the squad size, cut expenditure and, possibly, make room for another signing.
Naturally, the deal that saw Elliot join the League One side, on loan, for the remainder of this season, generated interest on social media.
Gauging opinion, it appears that the Luton Town support wanted to do nothing more than wish the 26-year-old all the best, as the posts below illustrate:
His goal at Huddersfield in the 2020 run in was crucial and brilliant. Good luck Elliot.

If they play him as a striker he'll score goals for them ๐

But it seems the Charlton support, are not quite sure what kind of player they are getting:
Any good lads?

Any good pal?

Is he more of an attacking midfielder?
— Jesse Ince (@InceJesse) August 26, 2021
I am sure they will soon find out, given the chance Elliot will prove his worth and be an asset to their side.

Poor Lee, I don’t think he has had the best of times lately. So I hope this move works well for him.
put ruddock out on loan, might be just what he needs.COYH.
Not a lot of sense there…..everyone moaning we are short in midfield as it is……
I guess NJ just doesn’t fancy Elliot
Think nj realises there isn’t much chance of elliot getting 1st team football….he will do well in league 1…
for his sake, let’s hope so.
Hi Alan, I’ve heard a whisper that we are looking to get a young player in on loan. Be interested to hear if you hear the same on Sunday.
