Luton – Living The Dream

Can someone pinch me, not once, not twice, not thrice, but numerous times, to persuade me it’s not all a dream?

Who would have dreamed it when, back on 30-July-2022, Luton Town opened their season with a 0-0 draw against Birmingham City, at Kenilworth Road.

Who would have dreamed it when, back on 23-Oct-2022, Luton Town were humiliated, at Vicarage Road, when our near-neighbours turned us over 4-0, in front of the TV cameras.

Who would have dreamed it when Nathan Jones, on 10-November, decided the green grass of the St Marys Stadium, Southampton, was the better option than staying with the Hatters.

Who would have dreamed that a manager who, in his previous employment, had been in charge of those aforementioned boys down the road.

Who would have dreamed that we would put together a startling run of form that saw us not only clinch a play-off place but saw us finish in third.

Who would have dreamed that not only would we reach the Wembley final but that we would, on the day, be the better side.

Who would have dreamed that little old Luton would, in front of their adoring support, would have the testicular fortitude to win a penalty shoot-out with everyone who took that long walk doing what was necessary.

Who would have dreamed that next season, Luton Town would be playing Premier League football.

Well, we can all wake up now, we are living the dream.

Who goes who comes will the Kenny be ready in time.must admit I’m flummoxed as to how they are going to demolish the bobbers an rebuild it without being able to get to it down the narrow alleyway 🤔🤔🤔🤔

lol, lift the new stand over the houses, one crane in Beech Road and the other in Ivy Road lol. But will there be a reduction in the number of holiday chalets available?

just got back from tenerife in time to catch a truly fantastic play off final. this was one of the most nail biting games i have seen. what an advert for the quality of championship football. two teams with different styles of play, going hammer and tongs against each other. this game will be remembered for a very long time. hope that lockyer is well. premier league it is.COYH.
