Luton – Keeper Continues To Impress

Image for Luton – Keeper Continues To Impress

I’ve already mentioned that the forthcoming World Cup hasn’t attained my normal level of enthusiasm, but perhaps that will change as it draws nearer.

I still struggle to comprehend why it is being staged in the middle of the season, although the word money does spring to mind.

Nevertheless, once it begins, I’m guessing, like many others, I’ll be tuning in and hoping to see a couple of familiar faces strutting their stuff.

One player I’m hopeful I’ll get the chance to see in action is our keeper, Ethan Horvath.

On a season long loan from Nottingham Forest, Ethan continues to impress and registered another clean sheet in our impressive win, away to Blackpool, at the weekend.

But Ethan’s selection for the USA starting XI is far from assured, prompting a couple of pundits to post, on social media:

While another, continues on a point I’ve raised before – support-could-get-their-wish-granted:

Hopefully, the loan deal will have an agreed price within its contents, otherwise any more performances like Ethan has provided this season could see that price move out of our range.

Macey appears to have disappeared off of the radar altogether, which with Shea fit, Horvath signed (fingers crossed) and Isted in the building may be a blessing in disguise later.
I know Thorpe can’t be recalled until Jan, but was strange to see the club had put out a statement of concern around Dion this week, who has had 13 run outs and finally starting to find his feet, but no statement or comment on the Thorpe situation.
Should never do business with Burton again.

Best keeoer we have had since the days of Sealey Dibble and Beresford Jones sjould sign him in January anyone know why Macey is not in match day squad

horvath has done a good job, but i think his good performances will price him out of our pay structure. still think isted will get the chance he deserves. glad that pereira is doing well. should sell him to bradford, don’t think he would ever be picked for luton.what is happening with thorpe, what a waste of a loan.got a good feeling about stoke, hoping for a high score.fingers crossed.
