Luton Impress Again This Time At Hull

I’ve never been a fan of Friday night football as it gives me the general feeling of what to do over the weekend.

Bit, if it means Luton winning and triumphing easily, I guess I’d put up with it!!

Football never fails to surprise me and the sacking of the Hull City manager, Shota Arveladze, is one such instance.

I mean, what other clubs sack their gaffer just hours before an important game?

Nevertheless, the axing didn’t faze Luton who, courtesy of an early goal, went on to win the game, with the victory sealed by a marvellous strike from Henri Lansbury.

The win lifted the Hatters to 5th place in the Championship table, albeit temporarily with a raft of Championship fixtures to be played today.

Nevertheless, it gives hope to the support, after a poor start to the season, that we can reach the dizzy heights of last season and possibly go one step further.

Naturally, the win was well received on social media, as the following comments illustrate perfectly:

Next up for the Hatters, in midweek, is a home game against Huddersfield Town, time for revenge and a third win on the bounce methinks!

Morning mh, I can’t get carried away yet. About our position. I’ll wait till after Xmas. But this is what I expect from Luton away from home professional performance. An another clean sheet as long as we do this away from home the points will come. We can play our football at home. Nice to see lansbury finally start doing what I expected from the start long may it continue. Adebayo showed more but does anyone else think like me he’s not a partner for Morris. Nice to see doughty an pelly on the bench adds depth to the team. Wonder how pelly will perform if gets a run. Let’s give him a chance to show how he’s now performing before the doubters get on his back.

To be honest I fancy we could come good against them. They are in disarray at the moment. An now is a good time to face them. Wonder what team we’ll put out against them.

Also horvath continues to impress me this season. I don’t know if he played in USA second game but surely he’s got a chance at the world Cup as the no1 didn’t impress in their first game. He’s got the chance here to replicate the great feur here an become a legend I wonder what he would think of horvath and if he rates him.
