Yesterday evening, live on terrestrial TV, the draw was made for the 4th round of the FA Cup.

After the comfortable win, against Harrogate Town, I’m guessing I wasn’t the only Hatter eager to see who we would be paired with in the fourth round.

Deep down I was hoping we would be drawn against a Premier League side, at our humble abode, Kenilworth Road.

However, it wasn’t to be with Luton being given an away tie against Cambridge United, the side that sensationally knocked out Newcastle United, in the 3rd round.

It may not be the most thrilling of ties but there is every reason to believe, if they play to their potential, the Hatters can emerge victorious in this tie.

Following the draw, I couldn’t help but notice, on social media, an air of optimism relating to the tie:

But it is also worth pointing out that, when it comes to the FA Cup, nothing should be taken for granted, with shocks coming thick and fast over the years when it comes to believing you have an easy tie:

But, like I said earlier, a win at the Abbey Stadium, could pave the way for a very successful cup run and something to grip the enthusiasm of the Luton support:

Now that is a mouth-watering thought.

However, I’ll end this article with an amusing post, relating to the tie:

Bring it on I say, we’re heading to Wembley!

very tricky game could go either way the cup games are never easy on paper we should have to much for them but look at Newcastle they will be up for it so we will have to play well to win it could go to extra time or pens thats the magic of the cup COYH
