It’s strange how the fortune of a football club can change so quickly is it not?
It wasn’t long ago that we were bemoaning the fact Luton hadn’t won for four games and now, eight days later, we’re on a run that has seen us go unbeaten in two games with one of those games being away from home and the other against what many perceive to be the best team in the Championship.
As we’ve discovered over the years, supporting this club of ours is a real roller coaster ride!
Against Fulham, the Hatters delivered the goods when, following the opening goal, they could easily have folded.
After the game had ended and in his post-match interview, as reported by The BBC
Nathan Jones was full of praise for his side, remarking:
“I thought we were excellent. I thought we were outstanding, I really did.
“The intensity, the pressing, the work-rate – we looked a threat from the time we tweaked the shape slightly.
“Fulham are the best side in the league. They’re high scorers and everything about them is the best team of the league.
“The fans were magnificent, but I think we gave them a performance to really get behind.”
It’s hard to argue with those words and the good folk who post on social media are, it would seem, of the same belief:
Absolutely spot on from Nathan… don’t always agree with his post match synopsis but today…. Completely in synch and very proud of them all !! Went toe to toe with the best team in the league!! And where we just 7 years ago? #coyh

Exactly, it’s remarkable how far we’ve come in less than a decade, the club really is on an upward spiral.
Continuing with the praise:
Spot on Nathan. Stick with them. Have a moan after by all means but for the 90 mins get behind them.

I absolutely 💯 agree with what he said today. Spot on 👏

With the festive season approaching, let’s hope that Luton can continue to keep this unbeaten run going and start to climb the table, I’m not suggesting a play-off place is waiting for us, but it would be great to finish higher than we did last season, would it not?

Luton Support Want More Of The Same After Great Result
NJ was so right with he’s summing up and the fans need to stay with the team when they are not doing that good . We all remember the moans that would go around the ground if we were not on our game but that’s the last thing the players need to hear as someone said moan after the game on sites like this . We know there is a good team there just needs that bit of consistency and then we will be up there come the end of the season . Coyh
