Ahead of the home fixture, against Fulham, I must admit I was a little apprehensive about what the result might be.
Although the Hatters ended their rub of four games without a win, last Saturday, with a fine 3-0 win against Blackpool, table-topping Fulham would be an entirely different proposition.
After all, here was a side that were favourites to earn automatic promotion and a side that scored freely.
You only had to look at their centre forward, Mitrovic, who prior to the game had already scored 20+ goals, a remarkable achievement so early in the season.
Indeed, it looked as if the Hatters were in for a long afternoon when the Croatian opened the scoring for Fulham, but Luton fought back and the great start to the second half saw Adebayo, deservedly, bring the Hatters level.
After that, in what turned into an entertaining, either side could have snatched the three points on offer.
Ahead of the game I had hinted that I would be pleased with a draw and, following the game, it seems the Hatters support, on social media, mirrored those views:

Luton remain in a mid-table position, but that area of the table is so tight and with decent performances against the two favourites for promotion, Bournemouth (a) and Fulham (h), the Hatters could, quite easily, push for a higher finish than what they achieved last season.
