Apologies for the interruption in our normal service, but my time has been taken up by next-of-kin duties.
Sadly, my uncle who has been suffering from various ailments over the past few years, finally succumbed to the ravages of cancer and COVID-19.
He, like myself, was a Luton supporter, although ill-health had kept him away from Kenilworth Road for a considerable time.
Upstairs, among my collection of football programmes, associated with Luton Town games home and away, are several from the late seventies that he gifted me, something that I’ll treasure now he is no longer with us.
I’m sure he’d have loved to see the new ground come to fruition, but alas it wasn’t to be.
But perhaps the final departing gift, in his memory, would be for the lads to, this Friday, take the three points on offer against Hull City.
God rest your soul uncle, you’ll be missed.

Friend of mine died a few weeks ago. Was in remission for years – took the clot shot, dead within a year. The ravages of the experimental jab.
