Last weekend, on the domestic front, was a quieter than normal one as the wife had travelled north to visit a friend.
The friend, an old school mate, lives in Newcastle, a city I have not been to since Godfrey Ingram scored a consolation goal in a game, we lost at St James Park.
The most recent game between the two sides I had to give a swerve as I was on one of my dreaded 12-hour shift patterns at the airport.
But, and credit to her, while she was trawling the sites, pubs, and nightlife the Geordie capital has to offer, she did do a quick walk round St James Park.
While on her walk, she came across the contents of the image below, a tribute to a player who made his name at Kenilworth Road before joining Newcastle United in a big money move.
The image got me thinking, when we finally get around to building Power Court, could we introduce something along similar lines.
I know, here at Vital Luton Town, we have already discussed naming the four stands after former players who became legendary figures at the club, but wouldn’t it be great to develop something we could possibly call The Walk of Fame.
I would certainly be interested to hear your views on the subject matter, please feel free to have your say in the comment facility beneath this article.
