Luton - A Minute’s Applause

Today is the day we have all been waiting for, the chance to watch Luton Town, in the flesh, at Kenilworth Road, in Championship action.

It is a day that has been a long time coming and a day, I am sure, many will remember for years to come.

Just walking towards the ground will be an emotional experience, seeing other supporters, meeting friends, going through our strange pre-match rituals, all part of the experience.

But life, for many, has been cruel these last eighteen months, the COVID-19 pandemic has altered the way in which we live, lock downs became the norm and for many there was the absolute heartache of losing loved ones to this awful virus.

Today, the club have asked supporters to take their seats early as, considering the above, they are going to hold a minute’s applause to remember all those supporters who, tragically, lost their lives during a pandemic situation none of us have ever witnessed before.

Therefore, we urge you to abide by the clubs wishes, those we lost deserve our respect.
