A crowd of over 7,200 saw Luton fail to beat the league leaders, Wrexham, and subsequently drop to fifth in the table.

Luton, who were without the injured Morgan-Smith, will rue the mistake made that gave Wrexham victory in the 73rd minutes.

Some slack defending by the defence saw the fail to deal with a ball from Neil Ashton and Mathias Pogba was on hand to find the net.

Wrexham could have doubled their lead, late on, through James Tolley but it wasn`t to be. Luton, as far as missed chances go will look back at the save Joslain Mayebi made for Wrexham from James Dance and also a header from Janos Kovacs that went over, from close range.

The victory made it five on the trot for Wrexham whilst the Hatters slipped to their first defeat in five games and will be looking to bounce back at Grimsby on Friday night.
