The disappointment etched on my face, as I walked through the front door, was plain for my family to see.
Yet again, when faced with a chance to put down a solid marker, Luton had failed.
It`s almost as if we`re destined to bask under a dark cloud.
Perhaps Gary Brabin summed it up perfectly when he remarked in an after match interview,
“I told the players at half time that a mistake would settle this game and that`s how it proved to be.”
“They came here with a game plan to get people behind the ball and frustrate us.”
“We need to win games ugly. Wrexham have taken that on board and it is working.”
Exactly, we need to cut out those damn errors and grind the opposition down, even if it means cutting back on the entertainment we`ve made a trademark of ours, otherwise I`m fearful of our chances of ever escaping the clutches of this damn Conference league!
