Of the trio of signings made in the forty-eight-hour period leading up to the closure of the EFL summer transfer window, the signing of Kieran Dewsbury-Hall excites me the most.
Although Dewsbury-Hall has not featured for Leicester City in the Premier League, he arrives at Kenilworth Road with a glowing reputation.
Indeed, one way to judge just how high a regard a player is held in is to scan the social media comments left by supporters at his parent club.
In doing so, when it comes to Dewsbury-Hall, you can see just why I am so excited.
The posts below illustrate just how well the young midfielder is liked by the Leicester City support:
Regular game time will bring him on ima but certainly a future star from what I’ve seen.

Should be in the first team squad here. Shocker from the club but open to be proved wrong!

Best of luck @KiKiDHall 👍 I know you will smash it.

But with Luton having acquired the services of the player on a season-long loan, there are some Leicester City fans who are struggling to comprehend why their club let him go:
Still think we’re gonna regret loaning him out when we need the depth, but go out there and prove your worth!! @KiKiDHall 🦊🙌🏾

When we don't have options at midfield why loan him pic.twitter.com/Do8lN2OOiM

And another post makes a valid point when the author states:
Why was he in the europa league squad if you’re going to send him out on loan?

It will certainly be interesting to see how Kieran fares in a Hatters shirt but I can see no reason why he should not be a roaring success based on the social media comments left by those who follow his parent club.
Although, perhaps they owed us a favour after we let them sign James Justin in the summer of 2019.
