We’re fast approaching the business end of the season, where dreams are either realised or shattered.

Tonight, at the John Smiths’ Stadium, two sides hoping to play a part in the Championship promotion race, go head-to-head, with Huddersfield going head-to-head with Luton.

Ahead of the game, we’ve gathered some early team news that could prove to be pertinent as far as the result of the fixture goes.

Starting with Luton:

The Hatters make the journey north, to Yorkshire, still suffering with defensive injury woes.

Two stalwarts of the back four, Tom Lockyer and Reece Burke are still trying to get back to full fitness and will not be considered for selection.

Also absent will be the very versatile Gabe Osho whose hamstring injury means he will not feature again this season.

However, Nathan Jones may be considering playing Sonny Bradley who came on as a substitute against Peterborough United, but is it too much of a risk to consider playing Sonny for 90 minutes?

Luton also have injury concerns in other areas of the pitch with Luke Berry and Jordan Clark both likely to miss the game.

There are also concerns that Cameron Jerome may not make the squad either with the experienced striker suffering from a tight hamstring.

As for Huddersfield, the Terriers will be without someone the Luton faithful know very well with Matty Pearson missing through injury.

However, on the positive side, our opponents can welcome back their top scorer, Danny Ward, and Jonathan Hogg, both of whom missed the last game against Hull City.

Fingers crossed that tonight is going to be our night!

Personally I think we will win the next 2 and silence all the negativity and moaning….

If we were to win the next two that must put us in the top six for sure . Win tonight and a draw Friday and I be happy with that. Coyh
