Hatters v Wrexham – Postponed

As feared, following the recent deluge of rain, Luton`s Skrill Premier fixture against Wrexham has been postponed.

The Kenilworth Road pitch was due to be inspected at 08:30 this morning by a local referee.

On carrying out the inspection the pitch was deemed to be unplayable and the game was, subsequently, called off.

Here at Vital Luton we applaud the decision to carry out the inspection early as there have been far too many cases, recently, of games being called off too late to prevent supporters from travelling.

Hopefully, the news reached Wrexham before anybody set off from north Wales.

The game will be rearranged for a later date.
