Well apparently not, Stuart Fleetwood, against Kidderminster, proved there was still a tendency for the misses to exceed the conversions.
Fleetwood has joined the following Town players who have missed penalties this season,
Amari Morgan-Smith, Danny Crow, Jake Howells, Robbie Willmott, Aaron O`Conner and now Stuart Fleetwood.
Prompting Gary Brabin to remark, after the Kidderminster game,
“It`s something alarmingly wrong.”
“We`re still creating chances and scoring goals but it`s something we need to improve on. It`s a monkey we need to get off our back.”
It certainly is or it`ll come back to haunt us.
