Markus Heikkinen, Steve Robinson and Warren Feeny have all returned to training and should be in contention for a starting place tomorrow. With Chris Coyne still struggling, it will strengthen Mike Newells team no end if Heikks is able to make a quicker return than expected to the first team as the Finnish international is one of the best defenders in the Championship.
Perhaps just as important is Steve Robinson, who is arguably the only defensive midfielder at the club (well at least the only one Mike plays!) and who’s presence has been missed with the central midfield failing to impress in his absence.
Up front it would seem to be Vine and one other, possible the favourite to partner Rowan would be new signing Sam Parkin who has joined from Championship rivals Ipswich Town. Now Mike doesn’t normally like to throw players straight into the team, but with Feeney only just back and Boyd still looking unfit then if Parkin is ready then I expect him to get the nod.

The defender oozes class and hopefully he will be fit enough to play the full 90 minutes.
