One player hoping to get a piece of the action at York this weekend is the Trinidad and Tobago international, Collin Samuel.

Signed on a short term deal, on transfer deadline day, the former St Johnstone forward is itching to show what he can do and has remarked to the local media,

“The last couple of weeks I`m just trying to get up to speed, as quick as possible, I`m not far off it now.”

“I`ll wait for an opportunity to come and whenever I get it I need to take it with both hands and try and stay in the team as long as possible.”

I`m trying to get my fitness levels as high as possible, so I know once I`m up to that I know I can set the standard and take it form there.”

Samuel also goes on to talk about getting on the score sheet although shies away from setting a target, further commenting,

“I wouldn`t say an actual tally because I`m not really into the team yet.”

“The main thing for me is getting that first goal.”

Off the bench on Saturday would do us fine, even more so if it`s the winner.
