Having seen the game last weekend postponed, due to the state of the heavily sodden pitch, Hatters fans will be hoping that the game against Nuneaton, this Saturday, goes ahead.
After all Luton haven`t played a Conference game for two weeks now due to FA Trophy action!
However, there is, as we type, concerns that the pitch may not have recovered enough for the Nuneaton game and with more rain forecast the concerns are well based with John Still admitting,
‘At the moment the pitch is not great I don’t think, but we’ve got 48 hours.”
‘With the amount of rain and work they can do on the pitch, we’ve not really been able to get it where we want it.”
‘The weather forecast isn’t great, but it is how it is, we can’t do anything about that.”
‘We’ve just got to try and get ourselves ready for when we do play, but we will keep our fingers crossed – we want to play.”
‘Fortunately we’re not behind on games, but you don’t need too many games off to get a backlog, so it would be good if we can get it on.’
It certainly would, I need my Hatters fix!
