The poor first half performance, against Peterborough United, at London Road, sealed the Hatters fate yesterday.
Conceding three goals made it a miserable away trip for the Hatters support who are still looking for that elusive first win of the 2018 / 2019 League One season.
In recent times, the Hatters have rarely played so poorly and following the 3-1 defeat, the Hatters manager stepped forward to accept responsibility for the performance, posting on social media,
????️ NJ | "I will take full responsibility. Tactically, I thought I got it wrong, I got it totally wrong today and I should have trusted what we do normally."

It’s an interesting interview given by the boss and, no doubt, he thought, entering the game, he had his tactics spot on, but hindsight tells us something went awry.
However, we’ll live and learn from this mistake and move on.
But, the admission did provoke a response from the Hatters support and we’ve selected the following comments posted to illustrate the point:
Tactically, you can do anything. The players can play. They can’t play. Stop making excuses.

“Making Excuses” he’s literally blaming himself lol

It takes a brave man to acknowledge that he got it wrong and Nathan will, as his managerial career prospers, learn from this error.
