With the EURO 2020 tournament in full swing and approaching what could be a memorable conclusion, it is time to revisit a poll we posted a couple of weeks ago.

With coverage, in the UK, restricted to the two traditional terrestrial channels, ITV and the BBC, we asked the simple question:

EURO 2020 TV Coverage Your Preference Is?

The response was not as good as we had hoped for, but it is clear, according to your thoughts, that your preference is the BBC which took 76% of the votes cast with ITV polling 24% of the votes.

Personally, I have found the coverage of both to be below average, or to be more succinct, not a patch on what Sky Sports provides when it comes to the Premier League and the EFL.

In fact, it has now got to the stage where I have opted to only watch the action itself, choosing to ignore the banal pre-match chit-chat and the stating of the obvious at half-time.

Has anyone else adopted the same attitude?

Morning mh, I do exactly the same. Also I note that nj is complaining about the losing Bell for the cup matches in America. Well he knew that before he signed him so why complain now. This tournament was arranged long ago an if it didn’t suit nj why sign the boy? We now have so many tournaments going on that football seems a year long game. An what about the olimpics next!!

Don’t forget it’s not the BBC or itv that is doing the RV courage but it’s from FIFA so it’s not that great just look at the adverts it’s the same for all the European club games poor . But I would rather watch BBC than itv .
