Luton – Who Gets The Nod – Swansea (h)

It seems strange that after a plethora of fixtures, we have not had a midweek game this week.

But then again it is a sign of the times we live in with our opponents, scheduled for Tuesday night, being hit by a COVID-19 outbreak.

As a result, Nathan Jones has had a week to work with his squad following the 3-0 defeat at the hands of Norwich City, last Saturday.

For the fixture, at Carrow Road, Nathan shuffled his starting XI choosing to rest some of those players that had been an inspiration in the previous two fixtures where the Hatters had attained maximum points and collected seven points from the last nine available.

To be brutally honest, despite beating Norwich twice already this season, both occasions being at home, in the Championship and the Carabao Cup, we did not expect Luton to get anything from the trip to Carrow Road.

But the Swansea game is different, we are at home and although Swansea are in the race for an automatic promotion place, there is the feeling we can get something from this game.

However, the key to success remains those who are chosen for the starting XI.
