Saturday, at 12:30, the Hatters will take on Watford, at Kenilworth Road, in a game where three points is not the only prize on offer.

There is also the small matter of bragging rights.

The clash, this Saturday, will be the first time the two sides have met at Kenilworth Road, in a league fixture, since January 2006.

But you have to go even further back to reveal the last time Luton Town beat Watford in a league match at Kenilworth Road that being August 1993 when Luton won 2-1.

As we prepare for this hugely anticipated fixture, we have uncovered the latest information relating to the injury situation in both camps.

Starting with Luton Town, Nathan Jones will be without the services of Tom Lockyer, Tom Ince and Eunan O’Kane with all three being absent for the remainder of the season.

There are also doubts about Dan Potts who has a thigh problem to contend with.

Continuing with Watford, our visitors will definitely be without the duo of Troy Deeney and Tom Dele-Bashiru.

There are also doubts about the participation of a further three players with Nathaniel Chalobah and William Troost-Ekong both rated as touch-and-go for this game while the former Manchester United midfielder, Tom Cleverley, is also unlikely to take part.

As is the norm, we will bring you the actual team sheets an hour before kick-off when they are released.
