The Hatters welcome Shrewsbury Town to Kenilworth Road this afternoon for a League One fixture.
In midweek, at the fourth time of asking, Luton registered their first win of the season, beating Southend United at Kenilworth Road, after suffering losses against Portsmouth (a) and Peterborough (a), losses that sandwiched a home draw against Sunderland.
The three points lifted the Hatters out of the relegation places into mid-table, thereby easing fears we could be in for a difficult season.
A second win, today, would see Nathan Jones side further climb the table and head towards the promotion race and a chance to compete for a place in the Championship next season.
