Luton Town - Poll Result Closer Than Expected

Earlier this week, here at Vital Luton Town, we picked up on the suggestion Jesse Lingard was touting himsel around.

Lingard, who has Premier League experience with Manchester United, West Ham United and Nottingham Forest had been cheeky enough, as we mentioned in our article – Just a Thought – to offer his services to the Spanish giants, Barcelona.

Aware of how both Ross Barkley and Andros Townsend had applied themselves and rebuilt their careers with the Hatters, after struggling to find a club, in the summer, purely out of interest, I thought I’d run a poll asking whether you thought the Hatters hierarchy should pursue a deal or the enigmatic Lingard.

In setting the poll I didn’t, if I were being so honest, expect it to be so close, my personal view was that I wasn’t sure, when it comes to slotting in experienced players, that lightning could strike thrice.

But it seems, numerous of those that voted thought otherwise with 43% believing it was worth the risk with the remaining 57% of the opinion that we, like I thought, should leave well alone.

However, I can’t help but wonder just where the former England international will end up and how he will are.

We can but wait and see.
