January 2024 is now with us and I feel it is my duty to wish you all a Happy New Year.
But when it comes to the football we’re all eagerly anticipating, after a fascinating December 2023, fixtures appear to be a bit spartan.
From what I can make out, Luton Town have only THREE confirmed fixtures, as shown below:
• 07-January – Bolton Wanderers (FA Cup)
• 15-January – Burnley (a)
• 30-January – Brighton and Hove Albion (h)
with the first fixture of the month being an FA Cup 3rd round tie.
Although we should also point out there is the possibility of the Hatters being involved in an FA Cup 4th round tie, if they get past Bolton Wanderers, during the last weekend of the month.
But looking at the TWO Premier League fixtures which mirror the opening fixtures of the season, if you ignore the fact the Burnley (h) game was postponed while we waited for the Bobbers Stand to be completed, how do you think Luton Town will fare?
Of course matters are also complicated due to the ‘winter break’ imposed upon us, what are the chances of the weather during the ‘winter break’ being fine but snow/ice affecting another part of the month? Sods law we call it don’t we?
January 2024 Will See Luton Earn How Many Points?
0-2 Points!
2-4 Points!
6 Points!
