Last night, tuning into the live draw for the FA Cup 4th round, was I the only one who was left a little disappointed?
Although I’m not taking anything for granted, when it comes to the next round seeing as we have to travel to Bolton and win our 3rd round replay yet, the least you can hope for, when it comes to any draw, is a home tie.
Instead, we were drawn away to the winners of the 3rd round replay between Everton and Crystal Palace.
My hunch is that it will be Everton and that we will face another trip to the north-west.
But, although I was initially disappointed, there is a positive aspect as, already this season, we’ve beaten, in the Premier League, both Everton and Crystal Palace.
Strangely enough, there are, on social media, several posts that are detrimental to us even reaching the 4th round, as can be seen below:

Think they want premier survival more mh, you can’t blame them. You have to except their point of view. Although I disagree about sending young players up there.
Stuff the FA cup, let’s give Premiership survival our best shot. I hope we use this window to get a couple of Barkley and Townsends but it won’t be easy.
now that we are premier league, we have become that favourites to win, no longer the underdogs. like bill i am not a big fan of cup games, but they are a vital money maker for clubs throughout the whole league.but what an entertaining game against a very capable bolton team. would love that big centre half of bolton in our defence. hoping for a good result in the replay.COYH.
