With the January transfer window open, the Hatters have announced their first signing.

After much speculation, some of which we covered earlier this week – defensive-duo-interesting-the-hatters – Luton have confirmed that the deal to bring Tom Holmes to the club, has been completed –

As usual, the term ‘undisclosed Fee’ makes another appearance and the fact that Tom is being loaned back to Reading, for the remainder of the season, indicates the defender is deemed as one for the future.

Although Tom may not be a Familiar name to the Hatters support, all I’ll say is that if he performs half as well as our last signing from Reading, Gabe Osho, has done, he’ll be a superb asset to the club.
