Luton Town Finally Secure The Deal

Okay, it is, this Friday morning, time for a multi-article catch-up following my summer sojourn to the Canary Islands.

When I departed – it-is-that-time-of-the-year-folks – I knew several moves were in the pipeline but I couldn’t put names to rumours, however I did suspect that the proposed deal for Luton Town to sign Thomas Kaminski, was back on again and awaiting confirmation despite having only reported a matter of hours previously – luton-thwarted-in-move-for-goalkeeper – the deal had collapsed over money.

However, the deal to bring the Belgian goalkeeper, to Kenilworth Road, was, in my absence, completed – Goalkeeper Kaminski captured – with, as always appears to be the case these days, the transfer fee being declared as undisclosed.

The arrival of Kaminksi increases Luton’s goalkeeping quota to three with the 30-year-old joining James Shea and Matt Macey, although it would not surprise me if the latter was to move on before the summer transfer window closes, at the end of August.

Kaminski’s age would suggest he is approaching the prime of his career and he comes with a decent reputation, but the devil inside me has yet to decipher whether he is any better than Ethan was or is good enough for the top-flight of English football.

But I‘m prepared to give Thomas the benefit of the doubt and back him to the hilt as we prepare to begin what is set to be a wonderful season.
