As I write the only current public available action involving Luton Town relates to the recall of players already out on loan.

Earlier this week, we covered the recall of Joe Taylor, Elliot Thorpe and Aribim Pepple – the-perils-of-the-loan-system – and the subsequent re-loan of Joe Taylor, to Lincoln City – no-time-to-unpack-the-suitcase-for-young-striker

Yesterday there was more action, on the loan market with the Hatters confirming that Fred Onyedimna had returned to Kenilworth Road.

Anyone out there care to enlighten us further with regards to the real reason?

I reckon it might be precautionary to add depth to the squad while Kabore is away on African Cup of Nations duty.

  • Bill says:

Of course I don’t know but I bet that the clubs getting these players aren’t paying all of these players wages. While this is not so important with young players needing game time I don’t see why we don’t just offload senior players we don’t need. Fred, Cauley. Eliot and Campbell are never going to be a major part of Robs plans so we may as well sell them.

Suspect Fred’s still injured and won’t be used as cover either. As bill has said their will be 5 or 6 moved out if possible to make way for up to 3 in.

  • Colin says:

I personally think Fred should not have been loaned out he has had so bad luck with injuries at Luton he has massive ability and his pace would cause problems for defences but he needs to stay fit
